IYENGAR Yoga, is a form of Hatha yoga, developed
in India by Mr BKS Iyengar. It focuses on precision
and alignment through a structured program of
postures, sequenced to balance the body, mind
and spirit.
Mr Iynegar, who turned 90 in December 2008, has been practicing yoga for
over 70 years. He has dedicated his life to the
teaching and development of yoga and it is his
methods that are most widely taught around the
world and across every continent.
